Dyar,Charlotte Charlotte Dyar Charlotte DyarFebruary 14, 1933 - April 25, 2007 Beloved wife, mother and grandmother Charlotte Dyar passed away April 25, 2007, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was 74. A celebration of Charlotte's life is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at The Gallery Bed and Breakfast, 547 30 Road, Grand Junction. The daughter of Jesse and Jessie Ledford, Charlotte grew up in McAlester, OK. She graduated from the Oklahoma College for Women, and taught school in Houston and Craig, CO. She married William (Bill) Dyar on October 27, 1956, in Denver. They moved to Grand Junction, where they raised their children, Bill Jr. of Pound Ridge, NY, Andrea of Grand Junction, and Jim of Redding, CA. Charlotte worked for over 25 years as an office administrator at St. Mary's Family Practice. She and Bill celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2006. Charlotte always said her most important hobbies were her grandchildren, children and husband. She also loved to paint and won several awards for her works. She enjoyed reading and visiting with friends. She was described by people who knew and loved her as a great friend, a great woman, a great mother and wife. In addition to her husband and children, Charlotte is survived by three grandsons, her mother, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
