Jimmie Dawn Sissy Edwards, 39, passed away Tuesday Aug. 8, 2011. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Goldsby. Interment will be held in Washington Cemetery. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Sissy was born to Evelene C. Andrews and Jimmy Don Price on Sept. 17, 1971, in Norman. She graduated from Washington High School and attended OBU and graduated from USAO with a BA in early childhood development in 1994. Sissy married Rodney Eugene Edwards on December 3, 1993 in Cole. She was currently teaching at Washington Schools and has lived in Washington all her life. Sissy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington and enjoyed scrapbooking and loved her children and all kids. Sissy was preceded in death by her mother, Evelene; nephew, Zachary Don Price; maternal grandparent, Gracie Andrew; paternal grandparents, Bus and Lillie Price. Survivors include husband, Rodney, of the home; sons, Jordan Edwards, Perry Edwards and Ryder Edwards, all of the home; her father, Jim Price, of Washington; brothers, Todd Price and wife Kari of Blanchard and Travis Price of Washington; sister-in-law, Raelene Profit and husband Marcus; brother-in-law, Todd Edwards and wife, Amy; nieces, Kasilyn Kay Price, Suzan Price, Kayla Edwards and Lori Edwards; nephews, Jacob Price, Joshua Price and Cody Price, Kevin Edwards; maternal grandfather, Joel Andrews; mother and father-in-law, Ray and Lynda Edwards of Edmond; and numerous other relatives and friends.
