Evans, Doris Doughty GREENSBORO Mrs. Doris Doughty Evans, 85, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, at St. Johns United Methodist Church with Rev. Neal Brower officiating. Gravesides services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, in Martha Cemetery, Martha, Oklahoma. Doris was born on October 3, 1922, to Alva and Lillie Doughty, of Martha, Okla. She graduated from Martha High School and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her mother and father; four sisters and two brothers. Surviving are her three children, Marcella Gemmell and husband, Bill, John Evans and wife, Kathy and Ronald Evans and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Bradley, Frankie and Jeff Jewett, Jonathan, Todd, and Tim Evans and Amanda Stinnett and husband, Robert and Ryan and Brittany Evans; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family will receive from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Forbis and Dick Funeral Home, N. Elm Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 1304 Merritt Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407; or Martha Cemetery Association, P.O.
