FELTON, Frances

I wanted to let you that my godmother, Frances G. Felton, PhD, died March 8, 2010 after a brief illness. She was 91. She was an OCW class of 39 and Hall of Fame honeree.  She and my other godmother, OCW class of 39, Crystil Jeck, were the reason I attended USAO.  They became college roommates and remained so until Crystil's death about 20 years ago. OU sent Frances a letter May 2008 honoring the 50th anniversary of her earned PhD in Microbiology.

Funeral arrangements are pending and I think there will be an obit in the OKC paper.
