Rhonda Fleming, 49, of Altus, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kincannon Funeral Home with Elder D. Jones and Elder Bennie Alexander officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. She was born on April 2, 1958 in Altus to John A. and Earlene (Pollard) Fleming. She attended Altus Schools, graduating in Roswell, N.M. in 1975. She attended WOSC and was trained in Oklahoma City as a professional nanny. She worked at S.W.O.D.A. in Altus and was a supervisor at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ in Altus. She enjoyed baseball, basketball, all sports, playing cards and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Albennie Pollard and John and Rosetta Fleming. She is survived by her parents; stepmother, Rosia Fleming; sister, Brenda Fleming Carruthers and husband John of Oklahoma City; half sister, Vanessa Fleming Sapp and husband Richard of Austin, Texas; brother, Alfred Fleming and wife Carla of Altus; half brother, John Keith Fleming of Austin; step brother ,Brian Miller of Lockhart, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
