FRENCH, Robert E. Sr.
Memorial services for Robert Earl French Sr., 56, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at First Assembly of God. The Rev. David Toppan will officiate. Burial will be in Anadarko, Okla. French died Jan. 14, 2010, in Gallup. He was born May 21, 1953, in Lawton, Okla. French graduated from Anadarko High School and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and graduated with B.A. Political Science University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. During his professional career, he consulted tribes from across the U.S. and served as Director of Ethics and Rule for the Navajo Nation for 9 years. French worked with Kiona Tribe of Okla., Wichita Tribe of Okla., Las Angeles Indian Centers and Denver Indian Center. Survivors include his wife, Lynda B. French; sons, Kristofer Hight of Dallas, Texas, Robert Earl French Jr. of Gallup, Sean Joseph Storer of Mesa, Aaron Kyle French of Mesa; daughters, Sandra Storer Garcia of Mesa, Tracey French-Begay of Flagstaff, Angela French of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Melonie French Saldana of Flagstaff, Candace French of Mesa; parents, Mary Grange of Iowa, Tennyson French of Gallup; brother, Al Grange of Ruthven, Iowa; sisters, Leta Brown of Primghar, Iowa, Veronica Galindo of New Kirk, Okla., Monica Galindo Otipoby of Lawton, Okla.; 24 grandchildren. French was preceded in death by his parents, Evangeline Clay French, Jack Galindo. Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
