GRAGG, Elenore E. (McNeese)

Gragg, Elenore Elizabeth McNeese Elenore Elizabeth McNeese Gragg was born November 26, 1915 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of James A. and Louise Harbaugh McNeese. She died July 26, 2007 at Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa at the age of 91. Elizabeth attended Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha. She was a graduate of Oklahoma City University with a BA degree and received a lifetime Oklahoma Teachers Certificate issued in 1942. After two years as a kindergarten teacher in the Tulsa Public Schools, she married Owen Gragg and became a homemaker. For many years, her weaving of beautiful fabrics brought great joy to her and many others. She was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Owen Gragg and a sister, Margaret Colladay. She is survived by her son, Jim Gragg and his wife Elaine of Oklahoma City, OK; two daughters, Elenore Russell and her husband David of Pittsburg, KS and Ann Lynch and her husband Ron of Fairland, OK; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by a brother, James A. McNeese of Ponca City, OK and a sister, Juliette Victor of Chicago, IL. She will lie in state at Stanley's Funeral Home, 3959 E. 31st Street from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday. A memorial service will be held at the Fleming Center of Oklahoma Methodist Manor, 4135 E. 31st Street, at 11 a.m Saturday, July 28, 2007, following a private family interment.
