Groseclose, Toma Toma Groseclose, 92, passed away 10/26/2007 at her home. She was born 9/28/1915 in Wade, OK to Reverend J.O. and Wilma Whitworth. Toma graduated from Idabel High School and continued her education at the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She was a music major and was accomplished in piano and vocals. Toma devoted her life to her family by being a homemaker. She enjoyed volunteer work, gardening, cooking, and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Groseclose; son, Joseph C. Groseclose; and brother, Lavoy Whitworth. Toma is survived by her children, Phoebe Spencer and husband Gary, Jim Groseclose and wife Arline, and Abbigail Schermesser and husband Dick; daughter-in-law, Frannie Groseclose; brother, James N. Whitworth; grandchildren, Robin, Cindy, Andy, Jamie, Rocky, Tim, Susie, Angie, Jenny, and Walter; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other loved family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10/31/ 2007, at the Guardian North Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
