HINES, Margie M.

A memorial service will be at later date for Margie M. Hines, 72, Durant, who died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, in Calera. She was born Saturday, Aug. 24, 1935, in Bennington to Marvin M. and Inez (McMillion) Hines. She graduated from Bennington High School in 1954, Murray Sate College in 1956, and Oklahoma College for Women in 1958. She taught school for almost 10 years. She then got her cosmetology license and ran a beauty shop, along with a used book store. Her true enjoyment came with brushing her ôbabiesö Kitty, Hoodie and Heidi, playing dominoes with Sabre and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother Raymond Hines, Dallas, Texas; special friends and adopted family, the Petersons and Wade families of Durant and other towns; several cousins and many dear friends. Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
