Graveside memorial service for Judith Anne Hittle, 75, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. Miss Hittle died Saturday, June 9, 2007, in a local hospital. Arrangements are under direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Lafayette, Ind., to retired Col. Leslie L. and Emma Lu Curtner Hittle. She spent most of her early life in Lawton, graduating from Lawton High School with the Class of 1949. She was very involved as a volunteer at the U.S.O. during the 1950's. She received a degree in Home economics from the Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha. She was employed as a County Extension Agent for Arkansas and Oklahoma. Her sister had been her caretaker during a lengthy illness. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Richard D'Aura; and three brothers: Leslie, of Lawton; Kenneth of Livingston, Mont.; and Gervase, of Hermosa, S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Carl Hittle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cleo Craig Memorial Cancer Research Foundation, 5002 SW Lee Blvd., Lawton 73505.
