JONES, Geraldine W.

Funeral service for Geraldine W. Jones, 87, of Lawton, will be 2 p.m. .Tuesday in the Immanuel Baptist Church in Duncan with Dr. Jack Robbins officiating. Mrs. Jones died Sunday in a Lawton care center. Burial will be in the Duncan City Cemetery under direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 29, 1922 in Coalgate. She grew up in Coalgate and was a graduate of Coalgate High School and attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. She married Edwin Allan Jones on Sept. 7, 1940 in Chickasha and together they moved to Duncan in 1944. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2005. She had worked for Little Printing and Stationery, retiring in 1973, but was primarily a homemaker. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Nancy and Philip Ferrell, Lawton and a grandson and his wife, Brad and Jill Ferrell, Denver, CO.
