Funeral service for Sarah Ann Kell, 73, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Sharon Baptist Church.Sarah Ann Kell was born March 9, 1936 in Chickasha, Oklahoma the daughter of Holland Guidel and Mildred Lena (Taylor) Humphrey. She died February 11, 2010 in Oklahoma City. Sarah lived in the Chickasha area her entire life. She graduated from Friend High School in 1954 and attended Oklahoma College for Women. Sarah married Arthur L. Kell, Sr. September 1,1956 at Sharon Baptist Church. They owned and operated Kell Farms. Sarah was very loving and giving to everyone. She was always very active with her family’s activities, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching their sports activities. Sarah was an active member of Sharon Baptist Church where she attended her entire life. She was also a member of Homemakers Friend Extension Club, and Chisholm Trail Republican Women's Club. She was preceded in death by: Parents, Brothers: Marshall Humphrey, Kenneth Humphrey, and Joe Humphrey. Survivors include: Husband: Arthur L. Kell, Sr. of the home, 1 daughter: Kimberly Kell Ashley and husband, Phil, of Tulsa, OK, 1 son: Arthur L. Kell, Jr. and wife, Sherri, of Chickasha, OK, Grandchildren: Faith Elizabeth Kell of Chickasha, Miranda Elise Kell of Chickasha, Hannah Blythe Ashley of Tulsa, Levi Armistead Kell of Chickasha, Hayden Kell Ashley of Chickasha, 3 sisters: Florence Dunn and husband, Carl, of Chickasha, Melba Kell of Chickasha, Carolyn Albright and husband, Arlen, of Chickasha, and a host of nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
