LANG, Elizabeth I. (Brown)

Elizabeth Isabell (Betty) Lang, 93, died peacefully at her home in Sandy Springs, Ga., on Monday, June 7, 2010. Born in Frederick, Okla., to George M. and Ruby Pearson Brown, Mrs. Lang was a graduate of the Oklahoma College for Women and worked as a teacher in Perry, Okla., before moving to Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles L. Lang; and by her brother, Wilbur Brown. Survivors include her two daughters, Patricia Bradley of Independence, Mo., and Janet Kieffer of Dunwoody, Ga.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, in All Saints Catholic Church, Dunwoody, Ga. Inurnment will be on June 22 at Benton County Memorial Park Rose Garden Columbarium in Rogers, Ark.
