MAHONE, Frances J.

Frances Jane Mahone (Janie) from Chickasha died Thursday, the 24th day of February 2011 at Carmel Health and Living Center in Carmel, IN. Born in 1951, Janie attended Chickasha Public Schools and received her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from USAO in 1997. Janie was a loving mother and grandmother who, above all else, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed photography, writing poetry, and reading. She loved animals and was rarely without a loyal pet by her side. She is survived by two sisters; Janice Powell of Las Vegas, NV and Mary Setele of Palm Beach Garden, FL, three children; Kyle Lewis of Oklahoma City, Phillip Lewis of Westfield, IN, and Jessica Gathje of Lincoln, NE, and four grandchildren; Kylie, Afton, Mathiaus, and Isabelle. The Memorial Service will be this Sunday, March 6 at 10 a.m. in Chickasha at the USAO Alumni Chapel.
