MARY BETH MCCALLISTER May 19, 1920 - June 2, 2008 CORPUS CHRISTI - Mary Beth McCallister joined her beloved husband, Jake Adam, in their heavenly home on June 2, 2008 in Corpus Christi. Beth was born May 19, 1920 in Ada, Okla., to William B. and Maxine (Reed) Masterson and sister to William B. Masterson Jr. (deceased) and Maxine Theda Graalman (deceased).A private graveside service was held at Memory Gardens in Corpus Christi, June 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. A memorial service will be celebrated at Lakeway, Austin on Aug. 30, 2008.Beth attended Oklahoma College for Women, Chickasha where she was a member of 'Q' Social Club and Sigma Alpha Zota, National Honorary and Professional Music Fraternity. She was graduated as an honor student from Texas State College for Women, Denton, where she was mistress of ceremonies with the modern choir and soloist with the college symphony.She was formerly choir director of the First Christian Church of Okmulgee, First Christian Church of Victoria, guest soloist of Trinity Episcopal Church of Victoria, and member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. On April 18, 1946, Beth married the love of her life, Jake Adam McCallister in Juarez, Mexico. Together they had four children, John McCallister (Linda), Suzan Deaton (Charles), Sally Lewis, and Jane Kronke (Mark); five grandchildren, John D. McCallister, Jake Lewis (Erica), Clinton Lewis (Valerie), Jessie Kronke, and Hannah Kronke; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine Lewis and Lillianna Lewis. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to: Clinica Corpus Christi-Patzun Guatemala: Father Albin C.
