Pauline Christian Moore CHICKASHA ù Funeral Mass for Pauline Christian Moore, 89, Chickasha, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St Patrick’s Catholic Church. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. She died Monday, Nov. 16. 2009, in Chickasha. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko. She was born in Kingfisher to Lewelling E. and Lillian Wade Rine. She graduated from Chickasha High School and Oklahoma College for Women. She earned a Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma. She enlisted in the WAC’s during World War II and served most of her time in the Philippines and Australia. She married Vernon Garth Christian in 1946 in Chickasha. They moved to Anadarko and she worked at Western Farmers Electric Coop for several years. Her husband died in 1960. She worked for the Department of Human Services in Anadarko for a few years, then was the DHS County Administrator for Grady County for a few years. She returned to the DHS in Anadarko before her retirement. She married Jimmy More in 1971 and they made their home northeast of Anadarko. She was a member of the VFW, General Federation of Women’s Clubs, Business and Professional Women’s Club and the China Painters Club. She was also a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Suriviors include her husband, Jimmy, of Anadarko; two sons and daughters-in-law: Garth and Patty Christian, Weatherford; and Gary and Irene Christian, Midwest City; a daughter and son-in-law, Gay and Tom Ridenour, Duncanville, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a greatgreat-granddaughter; and a cousin, Frances Burnett, Lawton.
