PARROTT, Kathy A. (Dody)

Funeral service for Kathy Ann Parrott, 57, of Cement, will be held Wednesday July 6, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Full Gospel Church with Sister Alice officiating. She was born September 12, 1953, in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Jack Dody and Lucynthia Dody. She passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Chickasha. Kathy graduated from Cement High School in 1971 and then attended University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma majoring in vocal. She then spent the next 25 years owning and operating Jacks Fruit Stands in Chickasha and the surrounding area. She was preceded in death by her mother Lucynthia Dody, son Doyel Jay Adams Jr. and daughter Shirley Brown. Survivors include: husband David, of the home; two daughters and son-in-law Patricia and Timmy Dehart of Cement and Hope and boyfriend Greg Neve of Oklahoma City; two sons and daughter-in-laws James and Debbi Parrott and Billy and Mikki Parrott all of Cement; 20 grandkids and eight great- grandkids. She will be missed and will always be remembered as a very loving Mother. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
