Willa Jean Diddy Pennington, 84, of Muskogee, passed away Saturday October 22, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 13, 1927, to Zeno and Grace (Campbell) Casto in Vinita, Oklahoma. She graduated from Vinita High School and attended the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She retired after working twenty years as the executive secretary for the Muskogee City/County Port Authority. She loved to garden, read, travel, OU football and their pool. She was active in the Service League of Muskogee, Kiwanis Kickers and Wednesday Winos. She married Bob Pennington on August 16, 1979 and they enjoyed spending time on Grand Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Don Casto. Those left to cherish Diddys memory are her husband Bob of the home, a daughter Jeanie Ford of Muskogee, a son Jim Bob Finley and his wife Kim of Broken Arrow, two step daughters Leslie Pennington of Tulsa and Penny Carino and her husband Mark of Tulsa, grandchildren; Sloan and Brooks Ford, Taylor and Blaine Baker and Conner and Parker Finley, great grandsons Reece and Case Baker and special niece and nephew Janie Allison and Donny Casto. Funeral services for Diddy will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Fosters Ivory Chapel with Rev. Tom Shelton officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Bob Finley, Conner Finley, Parker Finley, Blaine Baker, Brooks Ford and Mark Hill. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park cemetery.
