POOL, Janet K. (Wigley)

Funeral Services for Janet Pool, 55, of Chickasha will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Janet Pool was born was July 13, 1952 in Ponca City, Oklahoma the daughter of Alvie E. Wigley and Katherine (Brooks) Wigley. She died April 4, 2008 at her home in Chickasha. Janet moved to Chickasha in 1958 where she attended grade school and graduated high school. She then attended USAO for one year and Oklahoma State University. After college she met and married John W. Tucker in March of 1973. On July 31, 1974 in Temple, Texas her daughter Jennifer was born. Then on October 25, 1977, in Honolulu, Hawaii her son child Justin was born. She later married Steven D. Pool on April 17, 1991. She was very active in the Community Theatre from 1994 to 2005. The theatre was one of her greatest passions. She was active in many of the productions, including, Miracle on 34th Street, Music Man, Cheaper by The Dozen, Scrooge, Arsenic and Old Lace and many more. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Al E. Wigley Jr.; grandparents: Annie and Luther Brooks and A.E. and Gladys Wigley; and her aunt Gwen Brooks. She is survived by her mother, Katherine V. Wigley; daughter, Jennifer L. Tucker; son and daughter-in-law: Justin and Erica Tucker; granddaughters: Jackie and JoVanni Mann and Emma Tucker; grandsons: Dillon Stieb and Nathaniel Tucker, all of Chickasha; brother and sister-in-law: Steven and Susan Wigley, of Pauls Valley; nieces: Stephanie, Jessica and Jill Wigley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
