POSEY, Mark A.

Graveside service for Mark Alan Posey, age 49, of Carson City, Nevada, will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Mark Alan Posey was born the son of William T. Posey, Sr. and Dorothy Nare Posey on September 21, 1959, in Morristown, New Jersey. Mark died on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Carson City, Nevada. Mark was a 1978 graduate of Chickasha High School and later graduated from USAO. He lived in Chickasha until 2003, when he moved to Wilcox, Arizona. In 2006 he moved to Carson City, Nevada. Mark was an advocate and supporter of World Vision. He also enjoyed music and was a talented musician. He was preceded in death by his father, William T. Posey, Sr. Survivors include: Mother: Dorothy Posey; Sister: Faith Andrus and husband, Bud; Brothers: Tom Posey and wife, Sandy and David Posey and wife, Charla. Numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the USAO Music Department or World Vision.
