SCOTT, Sue (Sloan)

A memorial service for Sue Scott, 76, of Lawton, will be at noon Friday at Centenary Methodist Church Parlor, SW 7th and D Avenue. Sue passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, after an extended illness. Sue Scott was born March 2, 1935, in Petoskey, Mich. Sue attended the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. It was there that she met and married Robert H. Scott. Sue was a longtime member of the Junior Service League and P.E.O. She moved to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1988, where she lived until 2002 when she moved to Edmond. She moved once more to Lawton in 2007. She is survived by her son, Robert H. Scott Jr. of Lawton; her grandson, Daniel Robert Scott; and her brother, Buck Sloan, of Alvarado, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Catherine Scott; her parents and two sisters. In lieu of flowers make donations to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston or to the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
