Peter Pete Arnold Sherman PASADENA, Calif. Funeral for Peter Arnold Sherman, 56, Pasadena, Calif., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, A n a d a r ko, with the Rev. Milton Otis officiating. Mr. Sherman died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, in Pasadena. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko. He was born April 6, 1953, in Enterprize, Ala., to Virgil James and Myrtle Tanequodle Sherman. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1972 and attended the University of Oklahoma and USAO in Chickasha. He majored in theater and signed with a theater group out of Chicago during his junior year of college. He began working as a master electrician for Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothers. He traveled all over the United States. He was very dedicated to his work, which he loved dearly and devoted 32 years of his life to. He enjoyed traveling, meeting people and writing, and was currently working on a novel. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a member of the Kiowa tribe of Oklahoma. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Ernie and Terri Sherman, Lawton; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Sevelta and Robert Dieckman, Indiana; and Lela and Michael Wires, Lawton; an uncle and his wife, Nelson and Gayle Tanequodle, Albuquerque, N.M.; his former wife, Donna Seron, Pasadena; and several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Myrtle Sherman; his grandparents; and a sister, Carol Jo Sherman. Cards, letters and flowers may be sent to Smith Funeral Home, 301 W.
