Surrounded by her children and dear friends, Wilma Jane Perry Spotts passed away on January 16, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Born in Chickasha, on July 22, 1944, she was the only child of Dewey Lee and Reba Virginia Perry. Jane graduated from Chickasha High School in 1962 and attended the Oklahoma College for Women. An administrative professional, Jane worked for the Chickasha Public School system, Grady Memorial Hospital, and most recently, St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City where she was the Continuing Medical Education Coordinator. A servant at heart, Jane's greatest joy came from giving to and helping others. Throughout her life she was active in several ministries at church serving in Missionettes, Royal Rangers, Women's Ministry and Divorce Care. Her great devotion to the Lord was evidenced by her completion of a Berean Bible study course. The Word of God was Jane's guide for life, and she lived by every word. She was a true prayer warrior, beginning each day praying for her children and reading Scripture. She was a member of Capitol Hill Assembly of God Church. The loves of Jane's life were her children and precious grandchildren, to whom she was a source of unconditional love and encouragement. Jane maintained many close relationships, and she considered her friends her family. She ushered in 2009 playing dominoes with her group and always looked forward to visiting with her former classmates from CHS. Her joyous spirit, generosity and unwavering faith in the Lord was an inspiration to many, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by children, Elizabeth and Corey Wittenbach, David and Tanna Spotts, Tracie and Steve Coker grandchildren, Cassidy, Ethan and Sadie, all of Oklahoma City numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
