Norlynne Lee Baker, 86, died Sunday, May 10, at Oklahoma Methodist Manor. Norlynne was born September 4, 1922, in Altus, OK, the daughter of Lee and Nona Baker. She attended Altus High School and Oklahoma College for Women. Her life in Tulsa was active with raising her children, volunteering at Saint Francis Hospital for 33 years, the MS Society, and a founding member of The Sewing Club. She was preceded in death by: husband, Jewell Wood; and son, Aaron. Survivors include: children, Michele and husband Bob Bartnick, Kerri and husband Jim Bynum, Brent and wife Jacque Wood. She was the proud grandmother of Vicki Wood Hutson, Monica Wood Roughton, Pamela Wood Evans, Brooke Cottongim Howell, Clark Cottongim, Briana Bartnick Maxwell, Ryan Bartnick; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and many wonderful friends. Funeral service, 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, at Boston Avenue Methodist Church, Rose Chapel, where she was a member for over 50 years. Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 585-1151.
