Nesbitt Gallery exhibits works of Chickasha native Dylan Cavin

Chickasha native and acclaimed artist Dylan Cavin will be on hand for the opening reception of a new exhibition of his paintings. The reception is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Nesbitt Gallery, which is located on the first floor of Davis Hall.

The event is free and open to the public.

USAO kicks off spring classes Thursday

With Thursday being projected to be one of the coldest days so far this winter, the University of Science and Arts will be braving the weather and beginning classes for the spring 2015 trimester.

Marble announces second retirement

A senior vice president at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma has announced his intention to re-enter retirement at the end of the fiscal year in June 2015.

Dr. Dex Marble, vice president of academic affairs, tendered his resignation to President John Feaver in a letter dated December 15.

USAO skyrockets up national college ranking list for affordability, value

In its fourth year on a national list for best value in public colleges, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma has reached an historic high.

Kiplinger’s, a Washington, D.C., based financial institution, rated USAO as the 69th in the nation for in-state attendees as part of its annual Best Value in Public Colleges report.
