Students in Dr. Edmondson's Race and Ethnic Relations course are working with the 2010 Census Bureau to help make sure all USAO students are counted.  University students in the U.S. are an undercounted population, census officials report, because of confusion regarding whether they should return home to complete the form.  Residence has no bearing on the census, so regardless of where you live, GET COUNTED!  The numbers make the difference, from congressional representation to funds for school lunch programs, Oklahomans must be counted to get our share of federal dollars.

Dr. Edmondson's students are not the only ones working for the 2010 Census.  In fact, they are in dire need of temporary employees!  Check out their employment website: http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/ for more information about how to meet with local recruiters.
