For students with no previous study of Spanish: pronunciation, elements of grammar, conversation and composition based on situations in everyday life, reading of simple texts, laboratory activities. 4 hours.
1114 ELEMENTARY SPANISH II
Continuation of 1104. The completion of this course with a "C" or above satisfies the requirement of "exhibiting competency in a foreign language at the novice high level" for an Oklahoma teaching certificate. 4 hours.
1118 ELEMENTARY SPANISH I & II
Language saturation in elementary Spanish. 8 hours.
2004 INTERMEDIATE SPANISH I
Intensive work in Spanish pronunciation, speaking, understanding, and reading skills. 4 hours.
2014 INTERMEDIATE SPANISH II
Continuation of 2004. 4 hours.
2018 INTERMEDIATE SPANISH I & II
Language saturation in intermediate Spanish. 8 hours.
3103 CONVERSATION AND COMPOSITION I
Conversation based on readings from Spanish literature and periodicals with correlated work in written composition and basic stylistics. 3 hours.
3113 CONVERSATION AND COMPOSITION II
Continuation of 3103. 3 hours.
3373 SIGLO DE ORO
A study of the masterpieces of the Spanish Golden Age, 1550 to 1700. Conducted in Spanish. 3 hours. Prerequisite: SPAN 3113 or permission of instructor.
3483 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY IBERIAN LITERATURE
Continuation of 3113, 1750 to the present. 3 hours. Prerequisite: SPAN 2014 or permission of instructor
