Player who signed with the Drovers likely off to pros

CHICKASHA – A catcher who signed with the USAO Baseball team is likely going to forgo his time at USAO after being drafted by the Chicago White Sox.

Drover Head Coach Mike Ross signed Jose Ramos in mid-May, but after Ramos was drafted this week, Ross doesn’t expect him to play for the Drovers.

Ramos played two years at Western Oklahoma State College before signing with the Drovers. He was drafted in the 20th round.
