CHICKASHA – The USAO Drovers are heading back to Shawnee this week to compete in the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament Wednesday through Saturday.
At 27-19 overall and 17-13 in the SAC, the Drovers enter the tournament as the sixth seed.
The teams will play a round-robin style within two separate pools. The champion of each pool will then compete in the championship on Saturday.
USAO plays in a pool with second-seeded OBU, third-seeded Rogers State and seventh-seeded Saint Gregory’s.
In the regular season, the Drovers went 1-2 against RSU and OBU and swept the SGU Cavaliers.
The Drovers will take on Rogers State at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The following day, USAO will face Oklahoma Baptist at 6 p.m. Finally, the Drovers will play Saint Gregory’s at 2 p.m. Friday.
Oklahoma City and Oklahoma Baptist co-host the tournament, but the Drovers will be playing all three games at OBU in Shawnee.
The SAC Championship will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at OBU.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Children under 5 years of age get in free. The games also will be streamed live on line for $7.95 per game or $24.95 for a full tournament internet pass. Click here to watch or follow live.
