CHICKASHA – With the best start in school history, the Drover baseball team leapt up from unranked to the 22nd spot in the first NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Top 25.

CHICKASHA – The Drovers scored in every inning in a 20-2 crush of the Arlington Baptist Patriots on Friday afternoon at Bill Smith Ballpark.

The Drovers (22-3) seemed unstoppable in the game, which only went seven of the nine innings, ending early because of the mercy rule.

CHICKASHA – After a strong performance in a shutout over Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, USAO junior Chris Fischer was named Sooner Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Fischer, in his first career start as a Drover, threw five innings, striking out 10 batters and allowing just a single hit in the game. The Drovers went on to win the Saturday afternoon game 7-0.

CHICKASHA – In a Saturday afternoon doubleheader, the Drovers ran all over Hillsdale College, scoring a total of 24 runs in the two wins.

A whooping 17 of those came in the first game, which the Drovers won 17-2.
