2012: Coming off of a redshirt, Blanchard pitched 1.1 innings in his two appearances. He threw two strikeouts.

2011: Redshirt

High School: At Shawnee High School, Blanchard helped his team become 2007 and 2009 regional champions. He earned the 2009 Baseball Spirit and Desire Award and the 2010 U.S. Army National Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Blanchard also played football in high school and was named the 2009 Football Player of the Year as well.
