2012: As the Drovers’ starting short stop, Mueller played in nearly every game of the season. In 124 at bats, he scored 25 runs and batted 22 runners in. He had a total of 29 hits — including season-high three hits against conference opponents Oklahoma Baptist and Wayland Baptist. He hit two rare home runs in the season — an in-the-park homer in a February contest against Saint Mary’s and a grand slam to end the season at the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament.
2010-11: Mueller played two seasons at shortstop and third base for Yakima Valley Junior College in Washington, where he was named All-Conference Second Team.
High School: Mueller was named All-State First Team two years playing for Santa Fe High School in New Mexico. His sophomore year, he broke the state record for triples. He helped his team to the state tournament for the first time in nearly 40 years.
