CHICKASHA – Thursday night was a special one on the newly-named Brisco McPherson Basketball Court as McPherson himself celebrated his 300th career win as a head coach after his team went on to defeat the No. 9 Rogers State Hillcats.
“(When I got here) I didn’t know if I’d even win three games,” McPherson said after the game. “To be somewhere as long as I have and to win 300, it’s a great accomplishment.”
CHICKASHA – The Drovers secured a 4-0 start of the season with a three-point victory over NCAA Division II Oklahoma Christian on Saturday night at the USAO Fieldhouse.
The Drovers came out strong, immediately putting themselves in the lead. They held the lead, which got up to as much as nine points, until just two minutes before halftime when Oklahoma Christian pulled ahead.
CHICKASHA – USAO’s Athletic Hall of Fame more than doubled on Saturday as USAO inducted the entire 2002 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship team into its Athletic Hall of Fame.

CHICKASHA – With three key starters and two big scorers off the bench coming back for a senior year, the Drovers are in good shape for a strong 2012-13 season.
Head Coach Brisco McPherson said he thinks this year’s team will come in with strong athleticism, coupled with the benefit that there are seven seniors and five juniors bringing in a high level of play and experience.
