Drovers stay in Top 10

CHICKASHA – After a rest week, the Drover men remain No. 10 in the nation, according to the most recent NAIA poll.

Without playing any games last week, the Drovers were just 4-0 when the poll came out Tuesday afternoon. Belhaven University in Mississippi (9-0) and California Baptist University (6-1) filled the open positions just above USAO.

The Drover men beat Bethel College (Kan.) Tuesday night and face Tabor College at home before next week’s poll is released.

USAO is the only Sooner Athletic Conference school in the Top 25.

After a loss to NCAA Division II Central Oklahoma, the Drover women (3-1-1) are receiving votes but are still fighting to get in the Top 25 rankings.

The Drovers play Tabor on Friday, with the women kicking off at 2 p.m. and the men following at 4 p.m. Those who can’t make it out to the game can follow the games live at link.usao.edu/LIVEstats.
