CHICKASHA – Four men’s soccer players from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma were named All-Southwest Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Goalkeeper Bryan Byars, defender Scott Parkinson, midfielder Kalokwera Okot and forward Nicolas Alberto earned the honor. USAO was the only school with a player in each of the positions among all the regions.
CHICKASHA – Alex Rubio, a men’s soccer player for the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, has been twice recognized for his scholastic talent as well as performances on the field as a men’s soccer starter.
Rubio earned both the national honor for Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CoSIDA Academic All-District.

CHICKASHA – The Drovers travel to Missouri Valley to compete in their fifth straight NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round, according to pairings released by the NAIA on Monday afternoon.
Ranked No. 11 in the nation, the Drovers (15-4) take on the No. 20 Vikings (12-4-4) on Saturday in Marshall, Mo. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
