CHICKASHA – Even though he only played for USAO one year, Dave Kunitz’ relationship with the university extended nearly a decade and still remains an important part of his life.

CHICKASHA – For the second year in a row, Drover soccer has teamed up with Drovers Against Cancer to bring fans the Pink Out Cancer soccer game, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
For the game, which will be against Mid-America Christian, both men’s and women’s soccer teams will don pink uniforms in an effort to raise awareness. Kick off for the men is at 2 p.m., and the women will follow at 4 p.m.
CHICKASHA – Junior Nicolas Alberto has helped lead the Drovers to the NAIA Quarterfinals both years he’s been to USAO, but this season, he’s hungry for more.
“As a team, I just want to win the title; go to nationals and win the title. Nothing less. That’s why I came back,” Alberto said. “Now, I’m a team captain so I have to work really hard in practice to show the young kids to follow my lead.”

USAO will celebrate its 40th Anniversary of Drover Athletics in first weekend of November. Registration, which is just $65 for a weekend full of events, is open currently, but prices will increase in less than two weeks. The deadline for early bird registration is Sept. 30.
