2011: As a freshman, Rivera made five appearances for the Drovers early in the year. His lone assist came in one of the Drovers’ first games, a 7-0 shut out over Texas College.

2008-10: Before attending USAO, Rivera played defense for three years at ITESM Tampico in Tampico, Mexico.
