2012: Sansford had a strong junior season at USAO. Playing in every game, Sansford led the team in total goals with 15 and in game-winners with five. He came in 14th in the NAIA in game winners and in the top 40 in total goals. He scored two goals a piece in back-to-back September games and had a hat trick — scoring all three of USAO’s goals — in a 3-2 win over conference-rival Oklahoma City. For his efforts, he was named SAC Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year. He also was named an NAIA All-America Third Team and a NSCAA All-America Third Team recipient.
2011: Sansford was one of only three players to start in every game of the season for the Drovers. He led the team in goals with 12 on the season. He also leads the team in game-winners (6), points (28), shots (81) and shots on goal (40). He was 10th in the division and second in the conference in total game-winners as well. Sansford scored two goals a piece against Oklahoma Baptist in the conference semifinals and early in the season against Ottawa University. He also had another four assists to help the Drovers.
2010: Before joining the Drovers, Sansford played forward a season at Cloud County Community College where he was All-America Second Team.
High School: In high school, Sansford was the top scorer for Colchester with 20 goals. He helped the team become runners up in the Colchester school final.
