2013: As a sophomore, Owusu saw time in every game of the season, knocking in seven goals and assisting three others for the year. He scored two goals each in a win against Southwestern Christian and in the SAC tournament against Northwood. He recorded the game-winning goal in both of those games and in a late-season game against Oklahoma City. He earned All-Conference Second Team honors. In the summer of 2014, he played in the National Premier Soccer League for the Oklahoma City Football Club.

2012: In his freshman season at USAO, Owusu played in every game of the season and came in second on the team in goals scored with 12, two of which were game winners. He added another two assists to come up with 26 total points on the season. He scored two goals a piece in wins against Texas Wesleyan and Saint Gregory’s and had a hat trick — all three Drover goals — in a 3-1 win over Lubbock Christian. He was named All-Conference Second Team for his efforts.

High School: In 2007, Owusu was named the inter-school best player in high school in Ghana. That same year, he helped his team get its third trophy.
