CHICKASHA – Two prominent college softball coaches from the area have joined forces to host an upcoming softball clinic June 22 at USAO’s Bill Smith Ballpark.
University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma head softball coach Taralee Pringle and North Texas University pitching coach and Jennifer White-Cody are conducting the camp for ages 8-14 year olds. The camp will be from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Pringle has coached 15 all-conference players and two All-Americans in four seasons at USAO. White-Cody, from Tuttle High School, played at Florida State University before coaching at the University of Minnesota and at UNT. In addition to pitching, base running, bunting, hitting, and infield and outfield work, the camp will focus on respect, integrity, responsibility and confidence.
