CHICKASHA – After spending four years on the Drover softball team, Senior Chancie Godwin isn’t ready to make it a part of her past.
CHICKASHA – The Drovers fought tough against conference opponent Northwestern Oklahoma State, taking the first game into extra innings and winning the second.
CHICKASHA – With help from pitchers Ashlyn Kimberly and Felicia Gourley, the Lady Drovers pulled off a double victory Monday afternoon against Mid-America Christian.
Rain delayed both baseball and softball doubleheaders against Oklahoma Christian on Saturday and rescheduling both has been difficult. Baseball will now play at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bill Smith Ballpark. Softball will begin at noon on Sunday at OC.
The Lady Drover softball team honored former teammate and All-American Leslie Beaty at Thursday afternoon’s doubleheader against Lubbock Christian.
The Lady Drovers kept both games of the doubleheader against No. 4 Lubbock Christian close until the last few innings of each.
USAO, Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma Christian will all offer opportunities to follow Drover sports live this week.
It wasn’t long after touring USAO’s campus that Hillary Brown decided it was the school for her — and that she wanted to continue to pursue softball in college.
The Drovers came out with one against Southern Nazarene during a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Drovers held strong in the first game against No. 13 Saint Gregory’s University, but ended up falling in both games to the conference foes on Tuesday afternoon.
