The USAO softball games at Southern Nazarene originally scheduled for Tuesday has been moved to Wednesday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m.

Lubbock Christian University is offering Drover fans a chance to watch and listen to USAO’s baseball and softball games this weekend online.

After six and a half months together, new Head Coach Jenn White-Cody and her softball team are ready to start the season.

Head Coach Jenn White-Cody has been working with the softball team since August, teaching them the fundamentals, and of course, learning about each other.

Congratutions to Jerry Long who won the raffle for an OU football signed by Steve Owens, Billy Simms and Jason White! Long is the assistant softball coach at Mustang High School.

Softball alums, husbands, parents, friends and family are invited to take part in this day of fun with old friends Sept. 20. Activities include home run derby, bake sale, pie throw and a raffle. Coach Julie Vergenz will be the special guest. RSVP by Sept. 15.

CHICKASHA – Former Florida State University pitching ace and Tuttle High School graduate Jenn White-Cody was tabbed last week to lead the University of Science and Arts’ softball team.

CHICKASHA – Two prominent college softball coaches from the area have joined forces to host an upcoming softball clinic June 22 at USAO’s Bill Smith Ballpark.

SHAWNEE – After each set a new record for single-season home runs and finished with a batting average over .350 seniors Leslie Beaty and Caitlyn Crotty headed up a list of four USAO player that were selected to the all-conference teams this week.

SHAWNEE – With 17 hits, 15 runs and a complete-game shutout from junior pitcher Michelle Bauer, the University of Science and Arts roll into postseason play with plenty of momentum after Tuesday’s road sweep of Oklahoma Baptist.
