SHAWNEE – After each set a new record for single-season home runs and finished with a batting average over .350 seniors Leslie Beaty and Caitlyn Crotty headed up a list of four USAO player that were selected to the all-conference teams this week.
SHAWNEE – With 17 hits, 15 runs and a complete-game shutout from junior pitcher Michelle Bauer, the University of Science and Arts roll into postseason play with plenty of momentum after Tuesday’s road sweep of Oklahoma Baptist.
BETHANY – Everything came together for the University of Science and Arts in Tuesday’s 13-1 game-two win over Southern Nazarene. One of the best offenses in school history exploded, and freshman pitcher Presley Tepe posted a four-hitter for her fifth win of the season.
CHICKASHA – Senior shortstop Leslie Beaty set a new school record with her ninth home run of the season, but it was Caitlyn Crotty’s seventh homer of the season that capped a six-run second inning and propelled the University of Science and Arts to a sweep of Oklahoma Baptist.
CHICKASHA – The week’s slate of baseball and softball games have had some changes. The softball team added a make-up series at Northwestern Oklahoma while the baseball team flipped its games with St. Gregory’s to accommodate the Easter holiday.
SHAWNEE – The upset-minded Drovers were turned away by fourth-ranked St. Gregory’s during Thursday’s rainy road doubleheader. Except for two game-changing innings, the University of Science and Arts had their chances to collect wins against the conference’s second best team.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Rallying from a five-error game one loss, the University of Science and Arts’ softball team made play after play in the field to secure a 4-2 game two win to split Tuesday’s doubleheader at Oklahoma Christian. OC took game one 15-2 with the help of six unearned runs.
