CHICKASHA – The Drover women scored 55 points against No. 7 Oklahoma City in a Saturday afternoon game at the USAO Fieldhouse.
The Stars (12-2, 9-1) defeated the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (3-9, 2-7) with a final score of 86-55.
Senior Paige Pulliam led the team in scoring and rebounding on Saturday. She notched 20 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the field, including 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe.
Backing Pulliam up was Rashelle Carr, who had 11 points and five rebounds in the game. Brittany Elkins had another nine for the Drovers.
The Drovers continue conference action at home on Thursday, taking on (RV) Mid-America Christian. Tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Two USAO clubs — Women in Science and Biology and Associated Sciences Club — will host. The Droves will be “Painting the Fieldhouse Green,” so fans are encouraged to wear green to the game.
