CHICKASHA – Going into 2014, the Drover women were trying to look for a Sooner Athletic Conference win, but fell at No. 17 John Brown on Thursday evening.
USAO (1-4, 0-2) dropped a 63-48 decision despite having two Drovers in double figures and after shooting 44 percent in the second half.

Senior Paige Pulliam was the second player in double figures with 16 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. She added one assist to help the Drovers keep pace in the game.
USAO women’s basketball will make its late home debut of the 2013-14 season this Saturday afternoon against conference-foe Saint Gregory’s University.
The game will tip off at 3 p.m. and will be USAO’s annual City Workers Day, where any employee of the City of Chickasha or its surrounding communities will enjoy free admission.
The original home opener for USAO in December against Oklahoma Baptist was postponed due to the winter storm. That game has been rescheduled for Feb. 10 at 6 p.m.
USAO will be broadcasting the game live in high definition on USAO's athletic website for fans who can’t make it to the game.
