CHICKASHA – Facing tough competitors in their conference opener, the Drovers teams struggled against No. 3 Oklahoma City Stars on Thursday night at the USAO Fieldhouse.
It was an Oklahoma City show as the Stars defeated the Drovers 98-44. OCU has defeated four of their five opponents by 50 points each.
Sophomore Paige Pulliam was the star, however, for the Drovers. Pulliam came in with 23 points and four rebounds in the game. Natalie Colton had another nine points, and senior Liberty Payne was the team’s leading rebounder with eight.
The women move on to 2-4 overall. They will take on Mid-America Christian at home at 3 p.m. Saturday.
