Home opener proves tough for Drovers

CHICKASHA – Three Drovers stood out with double digit points in Monday night’s USAO women’s basketball home opener against Texas Wesleyan.

Liberty Payne, a newcomer who has been practicing with the team since winter break, came out as the team’s leading scorer with 14 points. Following close behind were juniors Tashina Ototivo and Sharnice Reed with 11 points each.

Ototivo also came in as USAO’s leading rebounder, grabbing nine in the game. Junior Alaria Waddle had another eight rebounds for the Drovers.
