CHICKASHA — As one of the hardest working players on the USAO women’s basketball team, junior Tashina Ototivo was named All-Conference Honorable Mention for the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Ototivo led the team in rebounding with 203 rebounds on the season, an average of seven per game. She’s also third on the team in scoring with 271 total points — or 9.35 points per game.
She had three double-doubles this season in conference play, including in back-to-back home wins against Oklahoma Christian and Saint Gregory’s in January.
Now in her third season at USAO, Ototivo has scored 525 points and collected 487 rebounds, which puts her third in the USAO record books in career rebounds.
She is a psychology junior from Walters. She is the granddaughter of Rebecca Howlingwater.
