CHICKASHA – The No. 8 Lady Bison’s strong second half propelled them into a 75-45 win over the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Thursday night at the USAO Fieldhouse.
The Drovers (6-9, 3-4) kept it close most of the first half and led for the majority of the first 15 minutes. But the key for Oklahoma Baptist (13-3, 5-2) was a 44-point second half and 43.1 percent shooting in the game.

CHICKASHA – Despite a strong start early, the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (5-7, 2-2) fell on Saturday afternoon to the Southwestern Christian Lady Eagles (5-11, 1-3) in a Drover home game.
The Eagles took the lead just before half and were able to maintain control of the game to top USAO 71-66 in the end.
CHICKASHA – The No. 2 Oklahoma City Stars (8-1, 3-0) looked like they couldn’t be stopped in a Sooner Athletic Conference battle on Thursday evening at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (5-6, 2-1).
Strong shooting led the Stars to an 87-51 win over the Drovers, who took their first conference loss on Thursday. OCU has not been defeated since its season opener.
CHICKASHA – The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma proudly boasts its student-athletes, who remain successful on the field and court as well as in the classroom, as they earn athletic honors and, most importantly, earn their bachelor degrees.
USAO conferred 74 degrees in all in the 2014 Fall Commencement ceremony on Friday evening. Eleven of those degrees went to Drover student-athletes.
