The USAO basketball games against Oklahoma City University have been rescheduled for Feb. 22. The games will tip off with the women at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.

The games were tentatively rescheduled for Feb. 8, but after further consideration, they were moved to later in the month.

Both Drover and Lady Drover games came down to the wire Wednesday night, and USAO could not pull out the victory either time.

Reports of possible winter weather hitting the area on Thursday afternoon has forced USAO and Mid-America Christian University to bump their Thursday night games up one day.

A last second three-pointer by Courtney Brox on Thursday night gave Coach Laci Tompkins her 200th career win as a head coach.

More than halfway through her first season as head coach of the Lady Drovers, Coach Laci Tompkins and the Drovers are still working through the adjustment.

Both Drover basketball teams felt the disappointment of a loss after their battles against Lubbock Christian University on Saturday afternoon in Chickasha.

The women struggled against the Flying Queens also Thursday and ended up losing 66-52.

The Lady Drovers pulled off an upset, beating Southern Nazarene University 62-67 – the same spread the Crimson Storm topped the Drovers in December.

Despite playing tough Saturday night, both the men’s and women’s basketball teams were defeated by Oklahoma Christian University.

Both USAO basketball teams played the Saint Gregory’s University Cavaliers Monday night, but only the men’s team came out victorious.
